Skinny Tonic says it has now £1.85mln raised so far in its latest funding round,

(), the company behind the UK’s first zero-calorie, zero sugar, and 100% natural mixer has been given a nice Christmas box, having raised £1.85mln so far in its latest funding round, which closes in seven days’ time.

The company announced on November 23 that it smashed its target of raising £1mln in less than 24 hours after launching its latest crowdfunding campaign to the public via the website.

Now the multi-award winning company’s campaign is 185% over-funded, with 933 investors taking part.

Steven Wilkinson, founder/COO commented: “We are obviously delighted with how this funding round has gone, this is likely to be our last crowdfunding campaign as we move towards being cash positive.”

“2021 will be a massive year for , our existing and new investors can see that. We are focused, driven and extremely excited about what the future holds,” he added.

In January 2020, Skinny Tonic raised £1.565mln via a three-time oversubscribed placing through , one of the most successful fundraises yet on the crowdfunding platform.

The company has been picking up a plethora of awards in 2020, and on December 17 its products were named the number one best low-calorie flavoured tonics by independent website Expert Reviews: https://www.expertreviews.co.uk/food-drink/1406740/best-tonic-water

Other awards won recently include:

The Skinny Tonic brand was created in 2014 by company founder Ian Minton – a sufferer of type 1 diabetes – as a tonic water that allowed him to enjoy a G&T without the fear of his blood sugars spiking.
