World High Life PLC says new facility will allow it to increase production by

(AQSE:LIFE, OTCQB:WRHLF) has said its London-based CBD brand Love Hemp has begun construction of a new 13,500-square feet facility that will allow it to increase production by 400%.

That means capacity will grow to 43,000 units of cannabidiol oils, capsules and cosmetics per day from the current limit of 8,000.

Providing improved storage, production capacity and lead times, the new unit will become operational in phases with full completion expected by next February.

“Our strategy is to continue to expand our local footprint, contributing to the future growth of our business, whilst also providing quality CBD products to our consumers throughout the UK and around the world,” said Live Hemp’s chief executive Tony Calamita in a statement.

“The scale of our new facility will support our customer proposition and enable staff to continue to stay safe at work as volumes increase.”

The company also recently achieved its ISO 9001:2015 certification, an international quality management system standard of efficiency and customer satisfaction.

This, Calamita said, reinforced the company’s “commitment to ensuring we are providing our customers with only the highest-quality CBD products, from oils to edibles and cosmetics to e-liquids”.
