Tudor Brown will take up the role with the fuel cell and electrochemical specialist at the start of next month

 () has appointed one of the founding members of UK chip designer ARM Holdings to its board as an independent director.

Tudor Brown will take up the role with the fuel cell and electrochemical specialist at the start of next month.

He began his career as ARM’s principal engineer before becoming chief technology officer and chief operating officer.

Until 2012, he was the group’s president with “responsibility for developing high-level relationships with industry partners and governmental agencies as well as regional development with a focus on the Far East”.

Ceres chairman Warren Finegold said: “Tudor has substantial relevant expertise from establishing and growing ARM, with a very similar technology licensing business model to Ceres.

“Tudor’s breadth and depth of skills in technology, licensing and global industry will be highly complementary to our board and we look forward to working with him.”
