Geremy Thomas, who was interim CEO, will continue in his role as executive chairman.
Howells’s new role was effective from 23 April and he aims to deliver the company’s strategy to become one of the best-known wellness brands.
His career experience includes integrations, M&A, restructuring and scaling start-ups, which the CBD company said will provide significant additional strategic and development strength at the board level.
