Honye Financial Services Limited still on the hunt for deal


Honye had cash and equivalents of £1.42mln at the period-end.

Limited () says it is still looking for a suitable acquisition but is investigating interesting possibilities.

Gareth Edwards, the chairman, added: “There are now many good reasons to hope that economic activity will quickly recover as the restrictions are lifted.

“Our financial position remains unaffected by the impact of COVID 19, having no trading business, which leaves us able to act swiftly and decisively when the appropriate target is identified.

 “It has been difficult throughout this period to pursue actively possible investments and acquisitions as physical movement has been (and continues to be) restricted, nevertheless we are continuing to assess interesting investment possibilities.”

The standard listed SPAC reported a loss before tax of £345,000 in the six months to end January 2021 and had cash and equivalents of £1.42mln at the period-end.
