Chaarat Gold Holdings Ltd adds ESG specialist to its board


The new non-executive director, Sandy Stash, has held top leadership positions in both the energy and hard rock mining industries. She is particularly experienced in ESG matters

() said Sandra Stash is to join the board as an independent non-executive director at the beginning of May.

Stash has more than 35 years of international executive and non-executive board experience in both the energy and hard rock mining industries.

She is a non-executive director and chair of the safety and sustainability committee of FTSE 250 company . Since January 2020, she has served on the board of directors of Trans Mountain Company, a Canadian Crown Corporation, while in October 2020, she joined the board of Lucid Energy, a private equity-backed diversified energy company.

“Sandy brings decades of experience in the energy and hard rock mining industries, particularly in ESG matters. I am delighted to welcome her to the Chaarat board which now includes five independent non-executive directors,” said Martin Andersson, the executive chairman of Chaarat.
