IronRidge Resources Ltd sees 2021 as a pivotal year as it continues exploration

“2021 marks a pivotal year for the growth of the projects across the company’s portfolio,” said chairman Neil Herbert

() sees 2021 as a pivotal year as it continues exploration programmes in Ghana, the Ivory Coast and Chad, the company said alongside its interim results.

“2021 marks a pivotal year for the growth of the projects across the company’s portfolio,” said chairman Neil Herbert.

Pre-tax losses narrowed to A$1.4mln (£0.8mln) in the six months to end December, from A$2.2mln the year-earlier period, partly helped by a foreign exchange gain and the absence of an exploration write off versus the prior period. The African-focused minerals exploration company currently generates no revenue.

“We are delighted by the developments we have made during the period across the company’s portfolio,” said chief executive Vincent Mascolo, noting a Scoping Study at the Ewoyaa lithium project and drilling at the company’s Zaranou gold licence.
