A search is underway after a masked man robbed an east Birmingham bank Tuesday afternoon.
The holdup happened shortly before 4:30 p.m. at PNC Bank off Parkway East. Police said the suspect entered the bank wearing a black hat, grey sweatshirt, white t-shirt black, blue jeans blue jeans and gloves.
He did not brandish a weapon but kept his hand in his pocket as if he had a gun. He fled the scene in what is believed to be a black 2015 Nissan Altima with no tag. A lookout bulletin was issued countywide.
He left with an undetermined amount of cash. No injuries were reported.
