State Farm Business Cash Rewards Credit Card 2021 Review – Forbes Advisor

State Farm Business Cash Rewards Visa Signature® Card* vs. Ink Business Cash® Credit Card

The Chase Ink Business Cash offers 5% cash back on the first $25,000 in combined annual spending on office supplies and internet, phone and cable services, 2% cash back on the first $25,000 in combined annual spending at gas stations and restaurants and an unlimited 1% cash back on all other purchases. These rewards may or may not be better than the State Farm Business Cash Rewards Visa’s for individual businesses based on what spending habits the business has.

The additional benefits of the Ink Business Cash are fairly comparable to the State Farm Business, with similar auto rental collision damage waiver and purchase protection. In addition, extended warranty protection and travel emergency services are among the perks available with the Ink Business Cash. The Ink Business Cash wins this comparison on its extra rewards alone, though we suspect that for most businesses, it’ll win cash rewards, too. It also gains significant advantage with its welcome bonus: Earn $750 bonus cash back after you spend $7,500 on purchases in the first 3 months from account opening.

State Farm Business Cash Rewards Visa Signature® Card* vs. Ink Business Unlimited® Credit Card

Another similar comparison but likely to be better for most businesses because of its unlimited 1.5% cash back rewards earning is the Ink Business Unlimited. The Ink Business Unlimited offers 0% Intro APR on Purchases for 12 Months, to be followed by the card’s standard rate of 13.24% – 19.24% Variable. Where the State Farm Business Cash Rewards card’s 0% APR extends to balance transfers, the Ink Business is definitely better for delaying payment on purchases.

The Ink Business Unlimited has a welcome bonus: Earn $750 bonus cash back after you spend $7,500 on purchases in the first 3 months from account opening. The welcome bonus helps it beat the State Farm Business Cash, but for those with specific spending patterns that fit the State Farm Business Cash’s 3% category, more cashback may be earned than the Ink Business Unlimited would allow.

State Farm Business Cash Rewards Visa Signature® Card* vs. American Express Blue Business Cash™ Card

The Blue Business Cash card from American Express offers 0% on purchases for 12 months from date of account opening followed by a regular APR of 13.24% – 19.24% Variable (rates & fees), but the reason it easily beats the State Farm Business Cash Rewards Visa in nearly all cases except those narrow circumstances in which the State Farm Business Cash Rewards’ 3% category is that the American Express Blue Business Cash™ Card earns the following rewards: Earn 2% cash back on all eligible purchases on up to $50,000 per calendar year, then 1%. Cash back earned is automatically credited to your statement.

The Blue Business Cash Card offers benefits similar to the State Farm Business Cash Rewards Visa and then some. Secondary rental car collision damage waivers and purchase protection are joined by an array of business-friendly perks and specialized Amex Offers with partners like FedEx. The Blue Business Cash card is the likely winner for most small businesses that spend under $50,000 per year. See the cardholder agreement for insurance benefits and terms.
