Covid-19: Jalandhar administration sets up oxygen concentrators bank | Amritsar
JALANDHAR: The district administration has set up an oxygen concentrator bank at Red Cross Bhawan in Jalandhar city where 30 oxygen concentrators have been kept.
A patient can get the concentrator on the basis of a prescription by a doctor at of Rs 200 per day rent with refundable security of Rs 5,000.
The doctor would have to guarantee that the device would be functioning under his supervision, said Jalandhar deputy commissioner Ghanshyam Thori while.
He said that the beneficiaries will have to arrange for power backup for smooth and uninterrupted oxygen supply to the patients.
The needy patients can contact the Red Cross Society for concentrators at mobile number 9876502613 or control room number, Thori said.
