Why WISekey Jumped Wednesday Afternoon

WISeKey, a Swiss-based cybersecurity and AI platform company, announced the launch of WISeArt, a certificate of authenticity — a “non-fungible token” (NFT) —  as proof of the buyer’s ownership.

NFTs are often used to commodify digital creations, such as digital art, items in video games or music . Many creators have been using NFTs to capitalize on their various work through cryptographic tools.
