Kanabo Group PLC agrees deal with second cannabis supplier


The Tel Aviv-based group floated on the London Stock Exchange last month, part of a swathe of new cannabis companies listing in the UK

() has secured a second supply agreement for its VapePod medicinal cannabis inhalation device.

Under a new contract, Polish cannabis cultivation group PharmaCann will supply cartridges of medicinal cannabis based on Kanabo’s proprietary formulation for the VapePod device.

Up to 36,000 cartridges per month will be filled and prepared at PharmaCann’s facility in North Macedonia as part of the new agreement, Kanabo said.

Tel Aviv-based Kanabo raised £6mln in its IPO on the London Stock Exchange last month, part of a swathe of new cannabis companies listing in the UK, including MGC Pharmaceuticals PLC ( ) and ().

Kanabo chief executive Avihu Tamir said: “Following the increased fund-raise achieved at the IPO, we are able to accelerate preparations for supply of medicinal cannabis products in addition to building our CBD Wellness business.”
