Serica Energy objective to ‘increase shareholder value by bringing technical

Serica Energy’s () Mitch Flegg talks to Proactive London’s Katie Pilbeam about their transformation over the last couple of years, becoming a leading independent producer in the North Sea, accounting for around 5% of the UK’s gas production.

Flegg references the maiden dividend that was made back in July and explains how the company has taken on the challenges of the oil price slump but says gas prices are now higher than before the global decline.

He says they have a low cost base and shown they can make a profit ‘even in the brutal economic conditions we’ve had at the beginning of this year’.
